Review and Giveaway - Karen Kane (CONTEST CLOSED)

I was recently contacted by Karen Kane to check out their latest collection. I was so excited for the opportunity as that I have always found Karen Kane to be a clothing line that is perfect for the busy woman. Karen Kane offers wearable fashion that is figure-flattering, stylish without being trendy, and at a reasonable price. As Karen Kane says on her website, "A woman needs simple, stylish clothes because life is complicated. As a wife, mother, and professional I need to know my clothes are polished enough for work and relaxed enough for weekends, are easy to maintain, can travel with ease, and have the integrity to last a long time, not just a season or two."

Sounds a lot like the shopping advice I give on Wardrobe Oxygen!

I was able to try out two dresses and one of their jackets and I was impressed by the classic style and quality manufacturing.

The Pearl Button Ruffle Jacket from Karen Kane has Chanel-esque details which really appealed to me.  I loved the pearl and pave buttons.  The jacket is unlined linen so it is very wearable in the summer.  I paired with a sequined tank and dark jeans for a casual look, but this jacket could easily dress up with a sheath dress.


I liked the two dresses I received from Karen Kane - both are stretchy, figure-flattering, and would be great for travel.  The Confetti Short Lace Dress is so much fun - all this lovely black mesh fringe made me feel like a flapper!  The Ruffle Silk Tank Dress is begging to be taken on vacation - it's so soft and comfortable, would pack up small, not wrinkle, and can dress up or down with ease.

  113. Here in SF it may be just as cold in summer as certain other times of the year... This year, we got summer for a week in February(!). So 'summer wardrobe' is really just a year-round wardrobe without the rain gear... That said, I am looking for some slim-fitting ankle-length pants that are flattering to my curvy body. I'd like to find them in dark denim, grey, or bright saturated colors like fuchsia, coral, or teal green.
